Guimaras Island, Philippines

Vacation…What comes into your mind whenever you hear or see this word?  For me, it means beach, sun, good food and drinks, sunglasses, comfy clothes, tan lines and fun with friends and/or family. 

I like going to places where there’s more fun to do but less spending.  I really don’t like spending in expensive hotels where you will just sleep in and store your things which is I believe is not very practical.  My family and I always go to places where there’s nice and affordable food and lodging.  And, we don’t need to go far since we went to visit my Father’s place (where I was also born, lucky me :) in Guimaras Island, Philippines.  It is located in the Western Visayas region.  Here are some of the pictures I took during our travel:

So, who said that fun needs to be in a 5-star hotel or somewhere in the Carribean?  As long as you have a family or friends that would love to share their nice vacation houses, I'd say it's a go.  What's important is you know how to relax, have a good time with the people you love, raise that glass of margarita and say, "Cheers!".

P.S.  We traveled by boat from my father's house, a small boat that's good for 2-4 passengers that's why it's not really that expensive.  ;)

New Day, New Beginning

Yes, as the title of my first blog goes, this is going to be a new beginning for me.  :)

I am very excited and happy to start this page and share it to all of you.  My goal is to share just about anything and everything that interests me, but my main focus would be into fashion.  I really like dressing up and designing my own clothes if possible.  I may not be a runway model (well, a frustrated one since I'm like at least 3-5 inches too short, lol) but, I believe we ladies have the right to use the streets as our runway anyhow.  Anyone agree? :))

I'm going to start sharing this picture wearing my favorite top and jeans.  Both are gifts from my love (the BF), top is Guess and Levi's jeans.  He's very generous also to lend me his late mother's necklace and bracelet which is made of Capiz shells, very pretty.

These gifts are really a treasure find for me since it has a sentimental value.  A tip: who says that we really need to buy expensive accessories if we have friends and relatives who have nice accessories that goes with our mood and outfit that we can borrow? ;)  Just make sure to take care of them properly.
